Dear Members and Families of the Aliso Canyon Community Exposure and Health Study area,

As the UCLA Aliso Canyon Community Exposure and Health Study Team, we are honored to have been selected to conduct this important research. We look forward to hearing your exposure and health questions and understanding the challenges you have faced as a result of operations at the Aliso Canyon facility.

We know the past seven years since the gas leak disaster at the Aliso Canyon facility have been challenging for you. We also know you have waited a long time for this study to begin. We take this research and the impacts you have endured very seriously, and we look forward to carefully investigating the impact of the disaster and the Aliso facility on the community.

After several months of work by the LA County Department of Public Health and our team, we now have a signed legal contract in place to begin the study. We are working quickly to develop communication channels that are regular and informative. We will notify you with more information in January 2023.

In the meantime, we wish you Happy Holidays and look forward to connecting in the New Year.

Best wishes,

The UCLA Aliso Canyon Community Exposure and Health Study Team Executive Committee members on behalf of all investigators
